In-flight essentials

As you probably know I just got back from the Czech Republic *insert a sob*. The following blog posts should have gone up when I was away but oops that did not happen, did it Blogger?! The 'what's-in-my-in-flight-bag' edit might be useful if you're just about to leave for vacation or just a weekend break somewhere even sunnier & warmer than the UK!

my purse & travel documents: Well, doh! I figured it's much easier to carry a bigger purse (thank you AliExpress for this lovely Mulberry-esque one!) where you can put your passport and boarding pass rather than carrying a separate pouches for these. Smaller risk of losing everything!
a book: You can't go on a plane without a book, just no! I'm always torn between an actual book & my Kobo but usually end up taking a book because you don't have to switch it off for take off/landing, ha! Currently I'm reading Severed Heads, Broken Hearts by Robyn Schneider. A sweet little John-Green-esque book for summer chillin' me thinks!
iPad & phone (with headphones!): These two are more for emergencies rather than games and what not. I'm in a desperate need of a new phone (mine doesn't even switch on properly anymore, boo!), so for now I'm doin' most of social networking on my iPad. The kind peoples from the Snugg sent me a new case (because mine literally fell apart - and I mean literally literally!) which is well - pretty snugg. It holds the iPad in place really well so it allows you to have a normal Skype video call without your case shifting into the view of the camera (link here).
glasses & sunglasses: As you may have read here - I've developed quite a serious case of blindness due to my laziness and inability to wear glasses/sunglasses as I should. A pair of good sunglasses and glasses (although I'm going for a check up next week as they're not strong enough anymore, sob!) is a must for me now.
refreshing facial spritz: I don't usually carry make-up or skin care products in my carry on but since we had to drive up to East Midlands airport and I get uncontrollably travel sick whenever the car journey takes more than 15 minutes, I thought a little pick me up would be in order. I'm not too picky with facial spritzes, this one from Pukka is quite strongly scented so definitely isn't for everyone but it is refreshing nonetheless.
lip balm: Carmex. Just Carmex.
foot spray: Yeeeah, about this. So basically something happened to my foot and it hurts like hell whenever I walk further than 50m. Brilliant when you're going for a cycling/hiking holiday. This spray from the Body Shop at least cools the swelling down and makes it a little bit more bearable to put pressure on it.
moisturiser: A tiny sample tube of anything moisturising as the air on the air plane tends to make me my skin all flaky and disgusting.
