Valentine's Day menu: Delicious seafood tagliatelle recipe
Another blog post in the Valentine's Day series is here! Today's all about that fancy Valentine's Day menu that you can cook at home - plus it's quick, easy & not expensive at all! I know, I know - they say it's all about strawberries, oysters, ambrosia, hamster tails and what not but what we really want is a fail-proof set of recipes that won't take a lot of time to make and will fill our bellies just the right amount. So here it is - my perfect Valentine's Day menu - a whole day through!

🍳 BREAKFAST
For the purpose of this menu I will assume that you have got a date planned. Let's start the day with a belly full of energy - and mushrooms! This mushroom melt on toast is the best thing since sliced bread. And it does include a sliced bread. So that's a double win and it's only 8am!

🍝 LUNCH
Although this is the meal of today I don't really want it to take up the same amount of time a Sunday roast does. Let's go for half an hour prep max. Maybe even less - what about 10 minutes? Yes, you've heard it. These delicious seafood tagliatelle won't take you more than 10 minutes to make. And how fancy does this dish look?

🍃 TEA-TIME
I always think your tea should be pretty light because PUDDING, right? You might have spotted this tuna & rocket salad with mustard dressing on the blog a few days ago and I think it's the perfect Valentine's Day dinner. It's got that flamboyant kick to it (mustard) but it's filling enough (tuna) with enough greenery (rocket) that it leaves you feeling rather light & healthy.

🍮 PUDDING
Oh yes. The pud. I know that I'm usually serving you my every-day gym shenanigans (via Insta stories) but that changes nothing about my belief that every good day should end with an even better pudding. Do you remember the Espana-inspired baked figs in red wine sprinkled with cheddar? That's exactly what I want my Valentine's Day to taste like. Good wine and dirty figs.

I hope this little menu inspires you to create something delicious for your Valentine this year!
