🍳 BREAKFAST
For the purpose of this menu I will assume that you have got a date planned. Let's start the day with a belly full of energy - and mushrooms! This mushroom melt on toast is the best thing since sliced bread. And it does include a sliced bread. So that's a double win and it's only 8am!
🍝 LUNCH
Although this is the meal of today I don't really want it to take up the same amount of time a Sunday roast does. Let's go for half an hour prep max. Maybe even less - what about 10 minutes? Yes, you've heard it. These delicious seafood tagliatelle won't take you more than 10 minutes to make. And how fancy does this dish look?
Ingredients
- 1 pack of freshly made tagliatelle
- 1 pack of frozen cooked seafood cocktail (or can be fresh)
- 3 cloves of garlic (crushed)
- 1 whole chilli pepper (chopped)
- fresh flat leaf parsley
- olive oil
- salt & pepper
Instructions
1. Fry your seafood cocktail in a pan on medium heat together with crushed garlic and chilli. 2. Prepare tagliatelle as per instructions on the packet (usually boil for 3 minutes). 3. Mix together in a pan. 4. Top with roughly chopped flat leaf parsley!

You might have spotted this tuna & rocket salad with mustard dressing on the blog a few days ago and I think it's the perfect Valentine's Day dinner. It's got that flamboyant kick to it (mustard) but it's filling enough (tuna) with enough greenery (rocket) that it leaves you feeling rather light & healthy.

I hope this little menu inspires you to create something delicious for your Valentine this year!
