When you get the perfect knitted dress for a tenner. Boom! Everyone (& their cat - especially their cat!) need a knitted dress for autumn, right? It's that one thing you can throw on when everything else fails and when the thought of putting freezing cold jeans (how cold do jeans get in winter?!) on is just not an option. The attributes of the perfect knitted dress: not too short (but short enough to create the perfect gap between the hemline and your over knee boots), slightly baggy (to hide the hearty dinner tum) & ridiculously soft (so you can stroke it when the cat doesn't want to snuggle up with you).
This green number from Primark is the ultimate happiness. It's so comfy I sometimes put it on just to lounge around in it. I'm seriously considering getting it in other colours too (I've seen it in wine red in the Birmingham store) - and I never ever buy things in multiple colours! I like pairing it with white trainers (as per my confession here) or - when it's a bit chillier like today - with over the knee boots (I find brown & tan colours look a little less daring).
